P265GH Heat Treatment Process: Normalizing
Introduction to P265GH
P265GH, also known as nuclear II, is a European standard container plate with high temperature performance. It belongs to the boiler container plate, which can be produced by Wuyang Steel Works in China. P265GH is the European standard EN10216-2 material standard. It is the second part of seamless steel tubes for pressure purposes: non-alloy and alloy steel tubes with high temperature performance. P265GH is commonly used in nuclear power plants, for example, in Ningde nuclear power plant, P265GH is used because of its high technical requirements. This technical agreement is applicable to 8-120 mm thick Euro-standard P265GH steel plate for containment equipment of phase I nuclear island civil engineering of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant.
P265GH Delivery Status
The delivery status of P265GH steel plate is normalized (N). The grain size of steel plate under normalized delivery condition is relatively uniform, and its performance is stable.
The center line of impact specimen is perpendicular to the final rolling direction and the notch axis is perpendicular to the rolling surface. Sampling requirements are implemented in accordance with NF EN 10028 and the following regulations. Sampling sites of steel plates with thickness less than or equal to 30 mm are close to the rolling surface.
If the axes of 30 MMT < 50 mm specimens are located at one half of the thickness of the steel plate.
If the axes of 50 MMT < 80 mm specimens are located at one third of the thickness of the steel plate.
If the axis of the t80mm specimen is located at one fourth of the thickness of the steel plate.

EN 10160-1999 Method for Ultrasound Inspection of Steel Plates with Thickness greater than or equal to 6 mm (Reflection Method);
The minimum average value of impact test for steel plate at - 20 degrees is 27 J. Only one sample is allowed to be lower than the average value but not lower than 75% of the average value.
